Hello, I am Aoife Budd, Vice Consul at the Irish Consulate in Boston.

It is my pleasure to welcome the Great Famine Voices Roadshow to the Irish Cultural Centre

of New England here in Canton, Massachusetts. It is a pleasure to hear about the Great

Famine and the wonderful work of the Roadshow in spreading the stories about that

harrowing period of Irish history.

We are delighted to be here at the Irish Cultural Centre in Canton who are great friends of the

Consulate, great supporters to the Irish community and in bringing culture and Irish heritage
